Cormac Walsh of the Lure Fishing Podcast reports that he spent the week chasing the flocks of birds up and down the shoreline in the hope of finding bass feeding on the sprats close enough to the shore to get a cast at. Eventually, with a stroke of luck he found himself in the right place at the right time.
The shoal of bass feeding hard on sprats hit the shore just before dark. A fantastic sight and some epic fishing for Cormac. Evenings like that don’t happen very often and he reckons it was great to see such numbers of bass around. Roll on the big tides next week…
