July has proved to be a difficult month of fishing with good water conditions for the most part but not a lot of salmon caught. There was a good few salmon lost at the net.
8 July
15-Year-old Aoibheann Lynch landed a 4 ½ lbs salmon in the Middle Garden pool on a cascade on beat 9.
9 July
Lairgnen McDermott landed an 8lbs salmon in the Falls pool on a cascade on beat 9.
11 July
Joshua and Simon Yorke landed 2 sea trout and a 4 lbs salmon in the falls pool on beat 9 on a Francis.
18 July
John Ryan landed a 6lbs salmon in the Bridge pool and James O’Neill landed a 7 lbs salmon in the Falls pool on beat 9.
20 July
Declan McInerney landed a 6lbs salmon in the Gauge pool on beat 9 on a black Francis. Paddy Gargan landed a 4 ½ lbs salmon on beat 9 middle garden pool.
