Mark Gannon of Courtmacsherry Angling Centre reports that they closed out June with some fantastic fishing. On June 30th Kevin Burns and his crew hooked 6 skate and landed, tagged and released 6 specimens! That is some average.
Another group of anglers were out with Mark on the 28th. They decided to target the sharks and had 4 in total with two over the 2m mark. More specimens!
The other fishing has also been good recently. There have been a few nice fish coming on board, this specimen cod being the icing on the cake.
There’s no doubt this week, we’re giving Courtmacsherry Angling Centre’s anglers Catch of the Week for this impressive performance.
