The VDE Baggers finished their winter league competition on Lough Muckno last weekend. With a cold east wind blowing, it was a tricky day out for the anglers, much in keeping with their recent outings to Muckno, which hasn’t really produced for them since the start of the year. But, at least everyone had bites this week, which was better than some of the recent slack days on the lake.
The winner on the day was ‘John the Guest’, whose 3.21kg bag saw him finish almost 1kg ahead of ‘Swing’ in second place with 2.31kg, with Aaron Nabc Hutchman taking third with 1.5kg.
But in the overall league standings, it was Aaron who came out tops, as his total of 21.8kg saw him finish way ahead of the rest of the pack to take the league title. 👏 👏 👏
