The first Feederking 2025 qualifier was held on a very out of sorts Lough Gowna over the weekend. Fishing was really difficult, due to the fish going spawning early this year.
However, Nigel Houldsworth put in a brilliant performance to dominate Rockfield with a net of bream and skimmers to weigh in over 10kg and win the match overall.
Mariusz Killan won a very difficult Kevin’s shore with just under 2kg, consisting of 3 hybrids.
Again, fishing was very hard on Emma’s shore with Irmantas Sriupsa (bream weather) winning the section with just under 2kg which consisting of a bream, roach and a hybrid.
