There was some good salmon fishing in West Cork last week according to Eileen Carroll Murphy in our Macroom office.
There were 12 salmon reported caught on the Ilen River between 6-12lbs. Sea trout are also being caught in good numbers, biggest 4lbs. The river is said to be ishing well after rain.
