Well, folks, the Dodder Day outing is on again this year, as it’s been so successful and a number of members want to fish it we have moved the venue to:

Date the 5th October 2025
Strictly Fly Fishing only
From 10.30am to 4pm.
Adult 20euro. All Juveniles are free.
Lots of prizes and goodies on the day.
We will also be fishing the O’CONNOR Cup on the day as it was not won during the season, this is for Juveniles only.
Lots of fly casting lessons on the day, so come along.
Adults, do you need some casting lessons? Juniors, we have you covered as well, with a wealth of knowledge and expertise on the day.
Don’t forget to bring the flask and the sandwiches. Remember to bring the wet gear, stay dry and warm, and most of all have fun.
We will have extra rods and reels on the day, but if you have your own gear, please feel free to bring it as well.
Places are limited, so please book your spot ASAP.
We also have some spare room in our cars if people need transport to the venue. Looking forward to seeing you all on the day.
