Fishing on the Erriff this season has been slow with conditions often poor for angling. There were only a handful of fish landed since the season opened although a couple of salmon got hooked but not landed in mid-May and June, it was the end of June before the first of the season was caught.
7th June
Alastair Dunlop landed a 1 ½ lbs sea trout in the Bridge Pool on Beat 9.

The first salmon of the season was landed by Niall Lynch in the Middle Garden Pool, weighing 3lbs and he also landed 4 sea trout around the ½ lbs mark on a Sunray Shadow.
1st July
Luke Drea landed two 4lbs salmon on beat 9, one in the Garden Pool and one in the Falls Pool.
