Neil, Dave, Martin, Alan and Connor from Blackpool had a great week’s fishing recently when they came for their annual fishing trip to Melview Fishing Lodge in Longford. The guys are regulars to the area so after arriving early off the night ferry it was straight to the action.
Feeder fishing at around 35 yards proved to be the best approach and after some prebaiting produced some great catches of Bream, Hybrids and good Roach. The best joint catch of the week was 375lb and the best individual catch of week of 130lb went to Neil. It was a great week of fishing and laughs with the guys and can’t wait to see them back next year.
