Alice Murtagh IFI from the Corlesmore office reports on the recent Carrigallen Festival where great weights were recorded:
Over 90 cash prizes were paid out to the 40 competitors. The overall winner received 600 euros plus several daily cash prizes.
I believe theses are the highest top 5 weight s since the Festival has been running. The venues were Church Shore Garadice, Rockfield, Dereskit, Gulladoo Steps and Tully. The highest daily weight of 12.10k of Roach was caught by Dutch angle Piet Van Lieshout from Tully.
