The weather has not been kind to us up here at all. We have only managed to get out to the deep water once in the past fortnight. Oh well, its winter after all! But the prospects are looking very good with a few good specimen spur dogs to be had and quite a few juvenile skate on the ground. Getting mackerel and herring is still not a problem mid channel and it reminds me of my adventures in Norway – we don’t even have to hunt the shoals as the birds are doing it for us.
