A few settled days allowed me to shift across the channel into the deep water holes hunting specimens. We caught all the usual suspects and though the skate were very small it was nice to see some young ones. The Carrick Fergus boys again faired the best trip of a 4 day session with some nice congers, spurs and a few small skate. The inshore angling is almost over now and we will start to travel greater distances in the hunt for the monster.
