61 anglers fished the latest qualifier on the Grand Canal at Fisherstown on Sunday last.
We checked in at Sean Ward`s lovely Fisherman`s Inn. He is in his 70`s
and a really lovely character who would keep you chatting for hours. He
kindly laid on lots of cocktail sausages and all the tea and coffee we
could drink.
East Coast Angling in Navan have come on board as sponsors. They
will provide us with three €30 vouchers to the presented to the anglers
who miss out qualifying by finishing in 6th, 7th and 8th. If they are
not there go get the voucher it goes down the line to 9th. Many thanks

there was some notable fish caught on the day and Tom Conlon took a fine specimen Pike of 21 lb. 8 oz. Several double figure pike were reported on the day.
