Nice bags of small roach & perch for the first leg of the Newry Coarse Fish Angling club winter league on the Newry Canal. The anglers were fishing long pole, short line and 6 to 7m whip on the grassy bank section adjacent to O’Rourkes coalyard.
Yesterday saw the first match of the Newry Coarse Fish Angling Club’s Winter League down on the new match stretch on the canal.
