IADA reports on the recent fishing at Lough Muckno…

20/06 The long awaited return of the large Roach shoals to Lough Muckno from their hopefully successful spawn is underway.
Peg 220 on Yellow Island yielded a nice 15kg plus bag of fish today, 20th June, to caster and worm head at 6 metres.
Almost 40 hybrids all on worm and 15 roach made up the 60 fish catch, when some nice perch were included.
All fish in great condition and hopefully this is the start of a very successful Summer and Autumn campaign with many Festivals Opens and club knock ups scheduled.
