Daingean Match Anglers held quite a battle on Sunday and report:
Round three of the Leinster Pairs was held on Sunday. With the weather and canal all being in good form the match was again a close run thing with the anglers averaging around two and a half pounds. Top rod on the day was inform Conor Browne with a great 6lb weight of roach aided by Pat Bartley with his 2lb 15oz they took the top pairs placing on the day.
Julian Kendrick and Colin Oliver came in second and Enda Hickey with his partner Richie Keegan snuck into third place.
Julian and Colin still hold the top place in the league by the tightest of margins from conor and pat with half an ounce separating them. The last round will be held again in Daingean on the 28th Feb.
