What a great week for Kit Dunne and the Wicklow Boat Charters
They recorded record amounts of Specimen Smooth Hounds in the last 3 weeks. 47 Specimen have been caught out of Wicklow with a total of 13 on one day.
Visiting Angler Rini landed his 10th Specimen species on Monday and a lovely wee gurnard ! Rinis had smoothhounds of 12.2lb & 8.3lb. There was a first Thornback ray for Yan and a pb Bullhuss for Rini.
Defence forces angler Phil Barry got his first specimen hound plus 3 more recently while Cork angler and owner of Tackle direct Ireland, Dan Lynch had two fine fish.
Three Specimen Hounds was the count for Gary Blake on Sunday and a first Homelyn today Monday for Shane McLave and the first Conger on the boat went to Darren Waggott on Saturday.
