The Winter Shore Angling Festival came to an end this evening following what can only be described as a tough days fishing for most anglers. Despite the tough conditions some good catches were recorded and three Winter Shore Angling Festival titles (Individual, 2 Man Team and 4 Man Team) were still to be decided after three days of intense fishing. The presentations were again being held in Sean Ogs Hotel in Kilmuckridge where the winners were revealed. Following a fantastic meal this evening in Sean Og’s the presentations were made to all of the the winners. This event is gaining more and more popularity each year and today 105 anglers fished in a bid to get hold of one of these prestigious titles.

This year’s individual title went to Irish International Angler Harry McKee Jr who put in some great performances over the three days. In second place in the individual was Thomas Hughes from the UK and third place went to well known UK angler Chris Clark.
