127 Anglers fished the I.T.F.F.A. National Lake Fly Fishing Championships on Lein in Killarney recently. Top rod was Fabien Tronche with 4 fish, 2nd was Darren Maguire with 3 fish, and 3rd Colin Cahill also 3 fish. Top lady angler was Orla Walsh, and Barry Healy had heaviest fish.

I. T.F.F.A. members will be back here in Westmeath come July as they host their club championships on Lough Lene in North Westmeath. It’s penciled in for July 21st, which is a Saturday, and closing date for entry is June 22nd. 4 anglers per team and 140 Euro per team for this fundraising competition. I.T.F.F.A.
