The Bilberry & Lough Lannagh Anglers recently hosted the 2019 McConville Cup where 82 anglers recorded 22 fish (size limit over 14 inches & heaviest fish competition). Prize giving and presentation took place at Maire Lukes Bar & Restaurant, Tourmakeady.

1st place went to well known angler Joe Creane from Roundstone, Connemara, with a fish of 4.6Lbs. Joe received the McConville Cup and his new Sheelin boat for first prize, adding to his success in the European Cup earlier in the year.

2nd Place went to Moycullen angler Mike Keady with a fish of 3.5Lbs. while 3rd place went to Cornamona angler Tom Doc Sullivan with a fish of 3.4lbs. 4th place went to Tom winters of England & Kildare with a fish 3.05Lbs and Best Club Angler was Kieran Doherty with a fish of 3.04Lbs & Kieran was also 5th.
