15 August: Shark season off to a great start, got our first Specimen Blue on Thursday, calcs at 104.6lb. Had a 10 shark day including porbeagles and blue shark, down to a zero in Easterly winds with 5 takes but nothing landed. Can’t get my head round it…
All in all it’s great compared to last year with an average 5 sharks per trip, and we’ve yet to go to the Celtic Deeps.
