David Norman of West Cork Bass had a couple of kayaks sessions this week targeting bass and lunker pollack!
First off, David fished with Kuba Standera of Pirate Lures targeting bass from the surface. Conditions started out calm but got increasingly lumpy for the pair (but not unsafe). There were no big fish landed but a few mid size fished made for a very enjoyable trip with Kuba (who has a wealth of fishing knowledge!)
The next session was a solo trip targeting big pollack on the fly. David wanted to test out his #12 fly rod and test it he did, with some real lunkers.
