The Angler’s Rest Feeder Festival was held over five days last week and a top-class field of 45 anglers lined the banks on Garadice Lough, Brackley Lough, and Kiltybarton Lough. A group of anglers from Holland organised the event, and even before things got going, they faced a challenge, as following heavy rain, the water levels on all venues were very high, which made pegging very difficult.
In a highly competitive match, Tony Green from Enniskillen edged the festival win, from Dutch angler Wim Heluems, in third place was Steven White of Cavan, fourth place was Chris Simpson, with Darren Fairhurst coming in at 5th overall. Winners of the pairs event were Tony Green and Wim Heluems.
