Newcomer blitzes the field at VDE Baggers match

1702

The VDE Baggers faced far more clement conditions at their match last weekend as calm, sunny weather replaced the near hurricane and rain of the previous outing. Anglers soon found that there was an ‘insane’ amount of roach all along the stretch and that decent bags were on the cards.

But it was newcomer Johhny Keith that romped home ahead of the usual favourites, with 250 fish on the whip for a whopping 18+ kg. Second was Aaron Nabc Hutchman, almost 6 kg lighter at 12.2, while Mick Carr was a further kilo behind on 11.21.
