Angling Report week ending 18/06/23
There were very few angling reports from Conn and Cullin last week with the warm weather not enticing many anglers out on the lake. Peter Roche threw a line on Lough Conn on Friday 16th and released a 12 ½ inch trout from around Chain Island using a Raymond. There were reports of the odd Mayfly about but the trout were disinterested with the dry fly.
Billy Murphy and a friend fished wets for 2 hours on Sunday at Massbrook and Billy released 1 trout of 10 inches to a Mayfly Muddler. They both rose a few more before the weather turned and they headed for home.
