Improving water clarity combined with calmer sea conditions produced 7 fish over one evening and a dead of night session.
Clean water resulted in upper 50cm fish falling to dark and light coloured soft plastic lures spun over shallow rocky ground.
Hopefully this will be the start of a productive summer for bass anglers on the coast. Sea conditions have been brutal over the winter months rendering lure fishing almost impossible.
