Lough Arrow Anglers report…

We held our rescheduled August competition on Sunday 1st September.  There were 40 anglers taking part, in conditions that were near perfect.  Fishing was tough, with the trout proving difficult to catch.  There were stories of people losing fish and rising fish but not connecting.  Nevertheless, it was great to get back out after the closure and everyone had a very enjoyable day on the lake.  With the mild weather that evening, it was lovely to sit outside The Mayfly having a chat after the prize-giving. Thanks to Philip and Ellie for hosting the event.
