Last weekend, 16 anglers competed in round one of a new competition based around Ireland’s commercial fisheries. They are fishing 2 matches in Loch Mahon, 2 in Toomans Fishery, 2 in Gaulmoylestown and 2 in Oaklands Lake.
The first match was held at Loch Mahon and produced some fine weights, with Johnny Bailey netting the biggest bag, a very impressive 170lb+, more than enough to win our Catch of the Week too. Round two will be held next week in Oaklands.
