The Trout Angling Federation of Ireland held their Senior Bank Inter Pro championships at Ardaire Springs at the weekend. 23 anglers lined the lakeshore as the morning session got underway, and the fishing was top-notch as nice weather conditions and active fish meant plenty of bends in rods. Strong sunlight and flat calm meant that the afternoon session was a lot trickier. In the end, last year’s winner, Sean Dempsey, put in a sterling performance to retain his singles title, while the Connaught Anglers were the top team. Full results below:
