After a great day at the Irish Specimen Fish Awards on Saturday it was back down to the nitty gritty on Sunday hunting big fish. This one fell to Chris Logan – his first ever skate. It was landed in very deep water using a whole coalfish as bait. The skate was estimated at 153lbs. Not a lot of other fish were taken from this mark, probably due to its presence on the ground.
