As the weather settles down more frequent windows of opportunity have been available to get some fishing done along the Louth coastline. The shallow nature of the Louth coast can make things more difficult as many fish don’t like being in shallow clear water. So, a little colour usually helps things along. Last week Peter Cunningham and Ivan Murphy had a session along the County Louth coastline. Conditions were good but the fishing turned out to be tougher than it should have been. The bass failed to show but some nice flounder were caught with the smallest measuring in at 30cm.
