A group of youngsters fishing with Des Chew and Josie Mahon of the Dublin Angling Initiative last week in Lough Ramor had great sport with a wide variety of coarse fish caught. Children and parents enjoyed watching their first coarse fish being caught.

Red and white maggots were used as bait, waggler floats with hooks set 2 foot below the surface. For many of the youngsters it was their first time to catch roach and hybrids, All fish were released unharmed back to the lake.
