22 anglers turned out for the latest match in the Float Only Winter League in excellent and calm weather conditions.
A sharp overnight frost however put paid to any big weights, however plenty of Roach and Rudd were caught in most sections.
The match was fished on the Roslea Lakes of Lyons, Gavin’s, Inver and Drumacritten.
The lakes fished well, with small Roach on the Pole and Slider waggler making up most of the catches.
The winner of the match was John Potters (Lisbellaw) with 5.700 Kgs, fishing on peg 7 on Lyons Lake, John’s catch included 12 Skimmer Bream on the Pole.
Runner Up was Jack Tisdall (Ballinamallard) also fishing on Lyons Lake, Jack caught 130 Roach/Rudd and 2 bonus Tench for 4.880 Kgs.
Third overall was Keith Murphy (Tempo) who caught 4.860 Kgs from peg 10 at Lyons Lake.
The other section winners were David Herron (Co Tyrone) on Gavin’s Lake with 4.600 Kgs, Brenton Sweeney (Cootehill) 1.960 kgs on Drumacritten and Leading Club Junior
James O’Doherty (Enniskillen) 0.940 Kgs on Inver Lake.
Neil Mazurek (Cootehill) remains on top of the league with 46 points.
