John Brittain, skipper of the Bluewater charter boat based in Cleggan, has been finding very good fishing for his clients recently. There are plenty of mackerel and launce around for bait, and the pollack as always are in abundance. Cod don’t seem to be as plentiful as they were last year but they are of a reasonably good average size. John has had a couple of very good ray sessions with thornbacks and Spotted Ray in large numbers.
