Anthony Page and I are now targeting Wrasse and Triggerfish.
We are having success at The Bridges of Ross, Bonfil’s Creek and Coosheen.
There is plenty of large Wrasse present with the occasional Triggerfish showing up as well.
We are using a variety of methods from Light Rock Fishing using Superworms and Senkos to slightly heavier gear fishing crab and limpets.
Visiting anglers, Ronald Surgenor and Dave Murdoch from Bangor, Co. Down had some great fishing. Ronald caught a Specimen Ballan Wrasse of 5.1 lbs. and Dave caught his first Trigger Fish weighing 3.15 lbs. – a whisker off a Specimen!
