Skipper Kit Dunne likes when things are busy and the last month has certainly kept the crew active, he reports:
Its been a Month of spectacular fishing in Wicklow, from specimen Tope to numerous double figure Smooth Hounds and big codling. The big fish started with a new record claim of 19lb in May, this has been followed by 23 double figure Hounds to 18.1lb in the last Month, some fine Codling and a 45lb Specimen Tope.
David Bailey landed a fine 45lb Tope on a favourite Wicklow mark. David lost his rods and reels recently so Kit gave him the famous TRONIXPRO Prodigy Big 30lb rod, the same rod used to land the 19lb Hound in May.
Joseph Redmond Who is now a regular with Wicklow Boat Charters landed a fine 16.6lb Smooth Hound last week.
