Michael Flanagan from Midland Angling reports from Lough Aishling on the catches during week:

It’s a while back since we featured this cracking fishery situated just outside Edenderry on the Tullamore Road. Its was a prime rainbow trout Fishery in those days, buy owner Joe Conlon tells us now he has moved into the coarse angling game, and visiting anglers are catching lovely Hybrids, and beautiful coloured carp.

Joe also does some beautiful Ancient Wood Creations from Bog Oak, and his studio is crammed with beautiful pieces carved Bog Oak thousands of years old. The day I dropped in none other than Mullingar angler “Nodger” Andy Boyle was getting ready for a days coarse angling on Lough Aishling.

Also local lads Kieran Dillon and Gary Cronin of Edenderry were chilling out on Aishling, and we photographed Liam Dillon with some lovely hybrid fish. Liam sent us a lovely photo of one of his carp caught in recent days on Lough Aishling, and they are certainly a lovely fish. Check out Lough Aishling and send us in a few fishery pics, Joe Conlon can be contacted on 086-8714020.
