Padraig Carroll reports from the banks of the Grand Canal, Tullamore:
On Tuesday last (31st Aug) the Tullamore and District Anglers held their 6th leg of their junior league on the Grand Canal and 17 juniors turned out. Fishing was hard but all caught fish. Weights were very low with only roach turning up on the evening.
Top three anglers on the night were:
1st Thomas Pigeon 9oz
2nd Oisin Carroll 7.5oz
3rd Ciara Power 6oz
Well done to all the juniors who turned up and a wonderful sight to see so many juniors fishing – congrats to all!
