Split venues leads to lopsided match for Leinster coarse anglers

582

The Leinster Coarse Angling Federation fished the third leg of their Seamus Mooney Memorial/Enfield Winter League at the weekend. In what was a perfect day for canal fishing, they were all anticipating a good days fishing, and it certainly was, but only for half the field…

They had decided to split the match venue between the Blackshade and Moyvalley sections of the canal. And while Moyvally fished its socks off, Blackshade lived up to it’s name and was left pretty much in the shade…

All the top catches came from the Moyvalley stretch, with Bob Hulme taking the honours with circa 100 roach.
