Killinarden Angling Initiative headed to Ramor yesterday
The weather was good to them and the fish were feeding heavy! KAI thanks everyone who donated and to the anonymous donor as without them the trip to Ramor would not have happened.
Some decent fish for very first timers…
Smiles for all the crew…
Special mention…
We don’t normally do this single out individual members of KAIs youths/Juniors.
On Sunday we noticed 2 lads willing to stop fishing & help others out weather it was unhooking a fish ,or sorting out a tangle or just helping out their pals in KAI the first is the youngest of the 2 lads Is young Luke well done.
The second lad is Ethan Byrne, the older of the two lads .
Sometimes with all the excitement of kids of different ages ,Catching probably their first ever fish which we had one or two today Can Shadow all the good stuff going on in the background kids willing & Abel to help their friends out when our attention is with something else.
It’s something that really, is fantastic to see unfold.
Well done Ethan &Luke

Go fishing…..
Killinarden Angling Initiative

Its principle aims are to promote, develop and improve angling in the Killinarden and the greater west Tallaght area and is affiliated with the National Coarse Fishing Federation Ireland. During the summer months the main work of the initiative is taking young people from Killinarden on fishing courses .The Initiative has also been a catalyst in setting up a children’s and Adult fishing club in Killinarden for many of these young people and giving them a hobby they can enjoy for life.
KAI run fishing competitions for juniors and a host of other events feature on the calendar, attracting greater interest to the sport year after year.
