Rathdaire Lake which is located at Derries Wood in Bellegrove, Co. Laois is a prime location for carp, hybrids, bream, perch and rudd fishing.
Rathdaire Lake are having an evening open competition on the lake on Sunday June 15th. Anglers can meet on the lake at 3pm and the competition starts at 4pm ending at 10pm. None members €20 entry fee.
Competition will be limited to 30 angler’s. This will be a coarse fishing match competition. 1 rods only pair angler normal lake rules will apply

Last Monday evening saw a nice bag of tench caught on the lake with the biggest one was about 3.8lbs the rest were about 2lbs.
