Mark Carolan from the Drogheda Coarse Angling Club has provided details of the Clubs Spring League 2013. The club announced its calendar some weeks back and promised to advise on arrangements for the matches closer to the event dates. Arangements for the first match have now been provided and details can be found below. The league will be fished over 6 matches. The angler’s best four matches will count, allowing their worst two matches to be dropped.

COMPETITION DETAILS AND INFORMATION

• Entry fee for the league is €30.00 and must be paid by the angler’s 2nd match.

• Cost per match is €7.00 which will be broken down as follows.

1. €3.00 per angler goes towards payout on the day.

2. €2.00 per angler goes towards golden peg.

3. And finally €2.00 per angler goes into the club kitty.

• The arrangements for the first match on the 14th of April which will be held on Lough Muckno (white Island) are as follows.

• Meeting at 8:45 on lake bank.

• Draw at 9:00

• Fishing at 10:30 to 14:30
